When you join HYF you may be assured your contribution is used as stipulated by you. At present, all our individual donations go 100% to the children. The small overhead is completely covered by corporate donations. Many of our students are the first in their families to have the opportunity to learn in a formal classroom. Your support helps us to give the children of the Himalayas a chance to join the world of today while preserving their own culture and traditions.

Watching the children year after year adjust to their new environment, grow and advance to a positive future are priceless rewards. Financial support is encouraged for the duration of the child’s education.
Kailash Hostel Sponsorship – Nepal
The sponsor receives photographs and biographical data of the child, occasional letters and greeting cards along with the child’s quarterly progress reports. We welcome and encourage our sponsors to correspond with their children and even to visit them.
Annual sponsorship: $1,600 per child . A six year commitment covers tuition, food, books, lodging, uniforms and medical care.
Choki Traditional Art School Sponsorship -Bhutan
Your sponsorship will be sent to the school and compiled in a pool with other donations from across the world. It will be used to accommodate each child’s needs and ensure educational quality. All sponsors will receive an annual report from the school on the progress and accomplishments of the students.
Annual sponsorship: $720 per child . A five year commitment covers tuition, food, books, lodging, uniforms and medical care.
